Casa Montado is a luxurious villa composed of several cottages, nestled in the unspoiled nature of Melides and just a short distance from the idyllic beaches of Aberta Nova, Carvalhal, and Comporta. This unique place offers the perfect escape to relax, featuring an expansive 30-hectare estate surrounded by approximately 800 majestic cork oaks.
Renowned architect Jacques Grange has brought the laid-back atmosphere of Comporta to Melides. His design, with separate living compartments, provides guests with ample privacy, even when staying with multiple families.
The Main House features a spacious master bedroom with an adjoining bathroom and a generous dressing area. For those who wish to be fully immersed in nature, there’s an outdoor shower with stunning views. The villa also offers a large living area, a separate TV room, an additional suite, and a room with two bunk beds, complete with a dressing area and bathroom.
On top of the Main House, you'll find a sun-drenched terrace where you can enjoy breathtaking starry nights and the soothing sounds of nature. The outdoor terrace is the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner, with a beautiful interplay of shade and sunlight.

The separate kitchen features a high-quality Lacanche stove, spacious refrigerator, bean-to-cup coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster. The 18-meter swimming pool, equipped with a jet stream, invites you for a refreshing dip, while the sun loungers surrounding the pool provide the perfect spot to relax. There’s also a bar where you can enjoy a casual gathering, along with a shower and restroom for added convenience. In the cooler months, indulge in the sauna for the ultimate relaxation experience.
Personal Service and Local Expertise
Luis and Fatima will be your contacts during your stay, preparing a delightful breakfast for you, with the option to arrange additional meals upon request. As locals, they know the region inside out and are happy to share their tips. They can reserve restaurants for you and arrange activities such as surf lessons or horseback rides through the rice fields or along the beach.
Additionally, they provide daily housekeeping, allowing you to enjoy your stay without a care in the world.
